Alcoa: stock down after Q4 results

(CercleFinance.com) - Alcoa shares are down over 2% in early trading on Wall Street today, after the group announced an adjusted net loss of $0.
70 per share for Q4 2022, more than double the $0.33 loss in Q3.

Also sequentially, the aluminium manufacturer's adjusted EBITDA (excluding extraordinary items) dived 86% to 29 million dollars, on revenues that slipped almost 7% to just under 2.7 billion dollars.

Alcoa said that it had faced challenging market conditions over the year, which included high raw materials and energy costs, as well as sequentially lower prices in Q4.
