Ford: total US sales up 6.8% in Q1

(CercleFinance.com) - Ford has announced that it sold a total of 508,083 vehicles in the US in Q1, up 6.
8% on Q1 2023.

In detail, sales of hybrid vehicles rose by 42%, to 38,421 vehicles, sales of combustion engine cars rose by 2.6%, to 449,439 units, while sales of electric vehicles rose by 86.1%, to 20,223 units, again compared with Q1 2023.

Finally, sales in the van/truck segment (Trucks) fell by 0.6% to 252,485 units, while sales in the SUV segment rose by 16.8% to 241,891 units, and those in the Cars segment fell by 7% to 13,707 units.
