Travelers: Q4 EPS up 6%

(CercleFinance.com) - Travelers has reported adjusted net income of 1.
29 billion dollars for Q4 2021, up 6% to 5.20 dollars per share, on revenue that is up 7% to just over nine billion dollars.

The New York-based insurer said the improvement in adjusted net income primarily reflects higher net investment income and higher underlying underwriting gains.

For the full year, Travelers reported adjusted net income that is up 31% at 3.52 billion dollars, a return on equity that improved by 2.4% to 13.7%, and revenues that increased by 9% to 34.8 billion dollars.
