PayPal: Intuit exec to become CEO

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday US based electronic payments specialist PayPal Holdings announced the appointment of Alex Chriss, a top executive from accounting and tax software provider Intuit, to the position of CEO.


PayPal states that Alex Chriss, who will take up his post at the end of September, will also join the California-based group's board of directors.

The San José-based company says that this recruitment completes an exhaustive search process conducted over the last few months.

Alex Chriss, who previously headed Intuit's SMB division, has increased sales in this sector by an average of 23% p.a. over the past five years.
