McDonalds: quarterly EPS just above consensus

(CercleFinance.com) - McDonalds has reported Q4 2019 EPS that is up 14% at 2.
08 dollars for the last three months of 2019.
Adjusted for exceptional items, the fast food chain's EPS was 1.97 dollar, a cent higher than the consensus.

Its quarterly sales increased by 4% to 5.35 billion dollars, with a 5.9% increase in overall sales on a like-for-like basis, including 5.1% growth in the US alone.

Thus, for FY 2019, McDonalds reported a 5% rise in EPS to 7.88 dollars, with sales that were pretty flat at 21.1 billion dollars, with its system sales (including franchisees) having reached 100 billion for the first time.
