KKR: acquires nexeye

(CercleFinance.com) - KKR has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire nexeye from investment firm 3i Group.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Gorinchem, the Netherlands, nexeye is one of Europe's leading eye care providers.

The group provides eye and hearing care to customers in 719 stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria and Sweden.

KKR said that it is convinced that its investment in nexeye will enable the company to seize future growth opportunities and establish itself over the long term as the European leader in value-for-money optical and hearing care.
