Dow: EPS divided by three in Q2

(CercleFinance.com) - The chemical company Dow has reported operating EPS of $0.
75 for Q2 2023, less than a third its level a year ago (-67.5%), with its operating EBIT margin almost halved (-7.5 points) to 7.7%.

Revenues fell by 27% to $11.4bn, reflecting lower demand and prices due to the macroeconomic slowdown. Volumes fell by 8%, while local prices dropped 18%.

Management still said that its measures presented in January are on track to generate $1bn in cost savings this year, and it is still focusing on cash flow generation.
