Dollar Tree: EPS down 19% in Q3

(CercleFinance.com) - Retail group Dollar Tree has reported adjusted EPS of $0.
97 for its third fiscal quarter, down 19.2%, on revenues of $7.31 billion, up 5.4% on a reported basis and 3.9% on a like-for-like basis.

"In a challenging environment, our performance was one of the best in retail, as we continue to grow traffic, units and sales per square meter", comments CEO Rick Dreiling.

For the full year, Dollar Tree is tightening its EPS outlook to between $5.81 and $6.01 (from $5.78 to $6.08 three months ago), and its sales outlook to between $30.5 and $30.7 billion (from $30.6 to $30.9 billion).
