Citigroup: revenues up, but earnings flat in Q3

(CercleFinance.com) - Citigroup has reported Q3 2023 net income of $3.
5bn, with EPS of $1.63, flat y-o-y.

Management says that that despite headwinds, its different business lines (Services, Treasury and Trade Solutions, Markets, Bank Activity, Wealth Management, etc.) each saw growth in business, generating overall revenue growth of 9%.

Quarterly sales came to $20.1bn, compared with $18.5bn a year ago.

The company's CET1 ratio was 13.5%, $14bn above the regulatory minimum, after it returned $1.5bn to shareholders in dividends and share buybacks.
