Alphabet: to develop healthcare innovation lab with Sanofi

(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi and Google, subsidiary of Alphabet, announce that they are going to create a new healthcare innovation lab to "radically transform how future medicines and health services are delivered by tapping into the power of emerging data technologies.

This collaboration will focus on three main objectives: better understanding patients and diseases, to increase Sanofi's operational efficiency, and improving the patient and client experience of the healthcare group.

Both companies will apply in-depth analysis and artificial intelligence techniques to large datasets for scientific and commercial purposes. In addition, Sanofi will migrate some of its existing applications to the Google Cloud platform.
