Abbott: Q3 earnings flat

(CercleFinance.com) - Healthcare group Abbott Laboratories reports Q3 2023 EPS of $0.
82, a cent above the $0.81 posted last year.

Adjusted EPS was $1.14 (this time a cent below the $1.15 announced a year ago).

Meanwhile, sales contracted 2.6% to $10.14bn, due to lower Covid test sales.

Q3 net income was $1,436m, almost flat from a year ago ($1,435m).

The group targets FY 2023 adjusted EPS of $4.42 to $4.46. Abbott is still looking for organic sales growth of 10% to 13% this year, excluding sales linked to Covid tests.
