SKF: signs framework deal with ArcelorMittal.

(CercleFinance.com) - Sweden's SKF has signed a multi-year framework agreement with steel giant ArcelorMittal, setting out conditions for the sale of bearings.


As part of the agreement, SKF will supply ArcelorMittal with bearing units, seals and remanufacturing services across 14 countries in Europe and Northern Africa.

SKF will also be able to recommend and conduct the remanufacturing of bearings, reducing costs and supporting ArcelorMittal's aims to reduce its carbon footprint and develop a circular economy, the Gothenburg-based group said.
