Stellantis: time for a CSR assessment in 2023

(CercleFinance.com) - Stellantis today published its third Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report.


This shows that the reduction in the company's overall carbon footprint (all scopes combined) fell by 12.6 in 2023 compared with 2021, in line with the group's commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by 2038.

In addition, the company aims to use decarbonized electricity on a massive scale, with a target of 100% by 2030 (compared with 58% in 2023).

The report also highlights the development of circular economy activities: in 2023, over two million automotive parts were recycled, and Stellantis inaugurated its first SUSTAINera Circular Economy Hub in Mirafiori, Italy.

The document returns to the structured electrification strategy for all brands, with 30 electric models (BEVs) available by the end of 2023 and 18 more in 2024, to reach a total of 48 BEVs.

Finally, the report refers to the global human capital development strategy, as well as the rigorous monitoring of responsible purchasing practices.
