Vopak: expands LNG terminal in Rotterdam

(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch tank storage group Vopak has announced a final investment decision to expand the capacity of its Rotterdam LNG terminal, operated as a joint venture with energy infrastructure group Gasunie.


The expansion consists of a fourth 180,000m3 liquefied natural gas tank and a regasification capacity of 4 BCM per year. Already the subject of long-term commercial agreements, it is scheduled to come on stream in H2 2026.
