TomTom: chosen by MG India for upcoming connected car

(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch digital maps company TomTom today announced that its full stack of navigation components has been chosen by MG India to power the MG connected car, which will be launched in May 2019.


MG India will also be the first client for TomTom's new service, TomTom IQ Maps, which automatically updates itself when new information or data is available.

The solution also downloads and installs map changes in the background over the cellular connection of the car, without disrupting the navigation experience, TomTom said.
