Mediaset: closes agreement with Vivendi

(CercleFinance.com) - Vivendi, Fininvest and Mediaset announce yesterday's closing of the global agreement, reached in early May, to terminate their disputes, mutually waiving all pending lawsuits and complaints.


In particular, Fininvest acquired 5% of the capital of Mediaset held directly by Vivendi, at a price of 2.70 euros per share (taking into account the ex-dividend date and the dividend payment, which took place on 19 and 21 July, respectively).

Vivendi has undertaken to gradually sell, on the market, the entire 19.19% in Mediaset held by Simon Fiduciaria over five years. Fin Invest will be entitled to buy the shares not sold by Vivendi every 12 months, at the established annual price.
