Mediaset: Oddo BHF remains Neutral after merger

(CercleFinance.com) - While Mediaset and Mediaset España announced their merger on Friday, effective in Q4, an analyst at Oddo BHF said on Monday morning that he is maintaining his neutral recommendation on the share, coupled with a target price of 3.
1 euros.

This target price suggests upside potential of around 15%.

Synergies should reach around 100 million euros, and lead to the payment of an exceptional dividend of the same amount.Mediaset is clear regarding its desire to expand this alliance to other European groups.The idea is to strengthen the fundamentals of the new group before then considering other potential deals, the broker comments.
