Antin: final closing of first Next Gen fund

(CercleFinance.com) - Antin Infrastructure Partners announced on Thursday the final closing of its first Next Gen fund, which reached its target of 1.
2 billion euros raised, as expected.

The infrastructure investment specialist points out that this new fund has already made five investments, notably in two electric vehicle charging platforms (Powerdot and RAW Charging).

The fund has also positioned itself in two smart grid players (SNRG and PearlX), as well as in a tire recycling joint venture, the first of its kind, with Enviro and Michelin.

For this fund-raising, Antin explains that it benefited from the support of investors from Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East, both existing partners and newcomers.

Antin points out that this new series of funds is intended to complement its two other strategies, 'Flagship' and 'Mid Cap', which focus on infrastructure companies benefiting from well-established situations.
