Precia Molen: weak third-quarter growth

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday, Precia Molen reported weak sales growth in the 3rd quarter, against a backdrop of confirmed economic slowdown in Europe.


The industrial weighing specialist reported sales of 40 million euros for the July-September period, up 0.8% on 2022.

Organic growth came to 1.8%, penalized in particular by a drop in activity at Milviteka, in Lithuania.

The Group, which manufactures scales for the mining, steel, food processing and logistics industries, reported sales of ?126.5 million for the first nine months of the year, up 7.1%.

On a like-for-like basis, organic growth came to 9.4% over the period.

In its press release, the Group cites a "significant" drop in the pace of order intake in Western Europe, and particularly in France, with the consequent difficulty of regenerating the year-end order book.

Listed on Euronext Paris, Precia Molen shares were stable after these indications.
