Constellium: back to black in Q2

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday, Constellium, a manufacturer of rolled and extruded aluminum products announced that it had returned to net profit in Q2, thanks to continued solid demand - particularly in the aerospace sector.

The industrial group reported earnings of E32m for the quarter, a mirror image of the net loss of
E32m in Q2 2022.

Adjusted Ebitda rose by 5% to a record E209m, despite a 14% decline in sales to E2bn.

Thanks to these good figures, Constellium has raised its annual forecasts and is now expecting adjusted Ebitda of 700 to 720 million euros in 2023, aiming to reach E800m by 2025.

The group, which is headquartered in Paris, was formed from the merger of the aluminum activities of Alcan, Alusuisse and Pechiney. Listed in New York, was up over 3% in pre-market trading on Wednesday.
