LDC: 9m sales up almost 8%

(CercleFinance.com) - LDC has published cumulative 9m 2023-24 sales that are up 7.
7% to E4.55bn (-1.1% in volume). Sales rose by 4.8% LFL, despite a 1.4% drop in volumes.

In an environment of persistent pressure on purchasing power, LDC has continued to cut prices in the poultry division in line with the fall in raw material prices, and has relaunched its promotional efforts in order to boost volume growth.

In view of the fact that the end-of-year festive season was broadly in line with expectations, the agri-food group confirms its annual sales target of over E6bn, with operating income before non-recurring items in excess of E350m.
