Abivax appoints new head of quality

(CercleFinance.com) - Abivax announces the appointment of Ana Sharma as vice president, global head of quality, bringing over 20 years' experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and expertise in quality and GxP compliance.


Ana Sharma joins Abivax from Takeda, where she held the position of Vice President, global head of research and development clinical quality assurance. Previously, she worked for Novartis, Amgen and the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center.

She has contributed to the launch of over 30 drugs in several therapeutic areas, including gastroenterology and immunology. She has managed international teams and interactions with regulatory authorities.
