Areva: equipment for a Russian power station.

(CercleFinance.com) - Areva NP yesterday said that it had provided the Russian State-owned nuclear group Rosatom with a security control system that will be installed on the first unit of the Novovoronezh-2 power station.


The first part of Novovoronesh-2 was connected to the Russian power grid in 2016. With a capacity of 1.1 GW, it feeds southwest Russia, explains the French nuclear equipment supplier.

"The long-term cooperation between Rosatom and AREVA opens a prospect for successful implementation of the future international projects in the area of automation systems, promising that the know-how of our partners will be in high demand with our future Customers”, emphasized Kirill Komarov, First Deputy CEO for Corporate Development and International Business at ROSATOM.
