Tarkett: Q3 net sales down 2.1%

(CercleFinance.com) - Tarkett has reported Q3 net sales of E984m, down -2.
1% y-o-y, with organic growth reaching 6%.

In detail, the EMEA segment posted sales of E209m, down 5%, while North America posted sales of E228m, down 9.2%, with sales in the CIS, APAC and Latin America totaling E166m, down 13.3%.

Sport sales continued to see robust growth, rising 11.2% to E381m. Tarkett describes the market as "very dynamic", particularly for artificial turf sports pitches and athletics tracks in North America.

In an uncertain geopolitical and macroeconomic context, Tarkett expects a further slowdown in demand in EMEA and a possible downturn in commercial segments in North America.

The group says it is continuing to adapt its production and cost structure and expects an improvement in cash generation, along with debt reduction.
