Vallourec: two contracts for oil fields in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - Vallourec announces that it has won two major orders for the supply of line pipes for phases 6 and 8 of the development of the Buzios oil field, operated by Petrobras.


These orders come alongside the previously awarded contract for phase 7 (already delivered), representing a total of 48,000 tonnes of line pipe. Deliveries of developments 6 and 8 are underway and will continue until the end of 2023.

Located off the coast of Brazil in the pre-salt Campos Basin, Buzios is one of the world's largest deepwater fields. It alone accounts for 25% of the Brazilian oil company's production.
