Robertet: acquires Sonarome in India

(CercleFinance.com) - Robertet announces the signature of an agreement for the takeover and gradual acquisition of Sonarome, a major player in the Indian flavours market, marking the French group's sixth external growth operation in five years.


With this operation, the group intends to pursue its strategy of international expansion and development in flavors for food and beverages in India, as well as expanding its geographical footprint in South-East Asia and East Africa.

Sonarome has over 100 employees and long-standing relations with industry leaders. It achieved sales of over 15 million euros by 2022, and has been benefiting from double-digit annual growth for the past three years.
