RWE: confirms outlook for 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - The group's adjusted EBITDA for FY 2023 reached E8.
4bn, exceeding the forecast range. At E7.7bn, adjusted EBITDA for the core business also exceeded guidance.

Adjusted net income came to E4.5bn, also exceeding the guidance.

In 2023, RWE invested E11.4bn, more than double its capital expenditure (capital expenditure in 2022: E4.4bn). RWE has significantly expanded its green portfolio in fiscal 2023, while reducing CO2 emissions by 27%.

RWE communicated its forecasts at a Capital Markets Day last November. It forecasts adjusted EBITDA of between E5.2bn and E5.8bn. This forecast remains unchanged despite the significant drop in electricity prices. However, the company currently expects a figure at the lower end of the range. The same applies to adjusted net income for the core business, which is expected to be between E1.9bn and E2.4bn.
