Ontex: in demand after return to profits in 2023

(CercleFinance.com) - Ontex group shares jumped over 8% in Brussels today, buoyed by the publication by the hygiene products manufacturer of EPS of E0.
43 for 2023, compared with a loss of E3.34 the previous year.

Ontex improved its adjusted EBITDA margin by 3.5 points to 9.7%, on revenues that rose 7% to E1.79bn. Sales rose by 10% LFL, mainly driven by price increases (+9%).

For 2024, the Belgian group anticipates an improved adjusted EBITDA margin, reaching between 11% and 12%, for revenues up in a low single-digit range on a LFL basis.
