Dassault Systèmes: contract with Indian steelmaker JSL

(CercleFinance.com) - Dassault Systèmes has announced that Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL), India's leading stainless steel producer, will deploy its solutions to strengthen its production planning, scheduling and execution processes.


JSL will deploy the industry solution experience "Operations Planning and Scheduling Excellence" based on Dassault Systèmes' 3DExperience platform, as well as two Delmia applications, to optimise these processes in a virtual environment.

This will enable the company to reduce costs and improve efficiency, with a view to achieving significant benefits, from shortening lead times by around 15% to reducing work-in-progress inventory by around 10%.
