UPS: reduces annual forecasts
(CercleFinance.com) - UPS has reduced its forecasts for 2023, now expecting sales of $91.
3bn and $92.3bn and an adjusted operating margin of between 10.8% and 11.3%, mainly reflecting global macroeconomic uncertainty. NB: pmt -4%.
The logistics group reports adjusted EPS that is down 47.5% to $1.57 for Q3 2023, with an adjusted operating margin of 7.7% on sales of $21.1bn, down 12.8%.
Management said that although unfavourable macroeconomic conditions have had a negative impact on global demand, the volume that was diverted during our collective bargaining is beginning to return to its network.
