Electronic Arts: Q1 EPS up 32%

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday night Electronic Arts announced Q1 2023-24 EPS of $1.
47, up 32.4% y-o-y, for revenues that are up 8 .9% at $1.92bn.

Management said that the fiscal year has got off to a flying start, with net orders up 21% y-o-y, new releases, continued growth in live services, strong engagement and new player acquisition.

For the current fiscal year, the video games publisher - operating the EA Sports FIFA and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor franchises in particular - expects EPS of about $3.42 to $3.92, as well as revenue of around $7.3bn to $7.7bn.
