Elanco: cuts EPS target range for 2021

(CercleFinance.com) - Elanco Animal Health says it has updated its target range for 2021.
While raising the revenue range slightly to 4.68 to 4.73 billion dollars it has reduced its adjusted EPS range to between 0.97 and 1.03 dollar.

The veterinary drugmaker has reported Q2 2021 adjusted EPS of 28 cents, up from just 9 cents a year ago, with an adjusted EBITDA margin of 22.8%, up from 16.7% in Q2 2020.

At 1.28 billion dollars, Elanco's revenues more than doubled (+118%, including +114% at constant exchange rates), thanks to the integration of Bayer's animal health business, with revenues from its historical businesses rising 28%.
