Bristol Myers signs supply agreement with Cellares

(CercleFinance.com) - Bristol Myers Squibb announces that it has signed a global capacity reservation and supply agreement with Cellares for the manufacture of CAR-T cell therapies, in a deal valued at $380 million in upfront and milestone payments.


Cellares will allocate several cell shuttles and its fully automated, high-throughput Cell Q systems in its smart factories in the US, EU and Japan for exclusive use by Bristol Myers Squibb.

This collaboration will enable the pharmaceutical group to expand its manufacturing capabilities, responding to the growing demand for its diverse range of cell therapies, bringing them to more patients more quickly.
