Voltalia: participatory financing for a wind farm
(CercleFinance.com) - Voltalia announces the success of a participatory financing scheme set up for a wind farm in north-eastern France, with four million euros raised by the end of a campaign launched in early 2024.
With a capacity of 23.6 megawatts, Sud Vannier is Voltalia's first wind farm in the Grand Est region. It produced its first kilowatt-hours in February 2023, and commissioning tests were completed in September. The electricity produced by this wind farm is sold to Leroy Merlin through a 23-year long-term contract (Corporate PPA).
