Voltalia: places green convertible bonds

(CercleFinance.com) - Voltalia has announced the successful placement of its inaugural issue of green oceane bonds (convertible into new or existing shares), maturing in 2025, via a placement with qualified investors.
The net proceeds of this issue will be used to finance and/or refinance "green" projects.

The green convertible bonds will be issued at par for a nominal amount of approximately 200 million euros and will bear interest from the issue date at an annual rate of 1.0%. Approximately 0.8 million shares will be sold through a concurrent accelerated placement.

The par value of the bonds has been set at 31.83 euros, corresponding to a conversion premium of 37.5% over the Voltalia share reference price. The settlement-delivery of bonds and shares is scheduled for 13 January.
