Fountaine Pajot: solid results, favorable outlook
(CercleFinance.com) - On Friday, Fountaine Pajot reported "solid" annual results and a "favorable" outlook, which helped its share price to gain ground on the Paris Bourse.
This morning, the pleasure boat manufacturer announced gross operating income (EBITDA) of 39.9 million euros for its 2022/23 fiscal year, ending August, compared with 33.3 million euros a year earlier.
Operating income before goodwill impairment rose by 30% to 33.6 million euros, while net income, Group share, stood at 11.4 million euros, versus 15.9 million a year earlier.
At August 31, cash flow from operating activities stood at 28.7 million euros.
The Group also announced a positive outlook, anticipating another year of profitable growth in 2023/24.
Given its portfolio of onboard orders and its industrial organization, which is judged to be 'efficient', Fountaine Pajot has good medium-term visibility.
At around 12:00 pm, the share price was up by almost 3%, but still lost more than 7% over the year as a whole.
