Korian: acquisitions ahead

(CercleFinance.com) - Care home operator Korian announces that it is in exclusive negotiations to take a majority stake in the capital of Move In Med, a start-up with 18 employees specialising in digital services and tools to improve the care of patients with chronic diseases.


Move In Med offers specific expertise in consulting, technological innovation and training intended for healthcare establishments and professionals. Nearly 50 public, private, institutional and associative structures use its services.

Korian also announces the acquisition of 5 Santé, a French group specialising in the treatment of chronic diseases (pneumology, cardiology, neurology, addictology...) with its founder and the investment fund Parquest Capital.

5 Santé owns six follow-up and rehabilitation clinics. With a total of nearly 500 beds and around a hundred places in day hospitals, it generated estimated revenues of 44 million euros in 2019.
