Eutelsat: signs agreement with Paratus in South Africa
(CercleFinance.com) - Eutelsat and Paratus announce the signing of a multi-year agreement for the distribution of Internet access services in South Africa.
Paratus will provide connectivity services in rural and remote areas of South Africa to agricultural businesses, farms and SMEs, as well as to individuals for work-at-home needs, distance learning and the use of the Internet.
Guido Merien-van Sprundel from Eutelsat, Sales Director for Southern Africa, said, "This agreement reflects the significant demand on the African continent, and the unparalleled assets of the EUTELSAT KONNECT satellite in enabling it to be efficiently met. This contract also highlights the pertinence of Eutelsat's multi-channel distribution strategy."
