Seb: 2018 net income up 12%
(CercleFinance.com) - Seb has announced net income, group share that is up 11.
8% at 419 million euros for 2018, and will propose a dividend that is up 7% at 2.14 euros per share (plus 10% for nominal shareholders registered for over two years).
The operating income from activity (ROPA) of the small household appliance maker amounted to 695 million euros, up 2.5% (+8.5% at constant exchange rates and consolidation scope), for sales of 6,812 million euros, up 5.1% (+7.8% in organic terms).
Company chairman and CEO Thierry de La Tour d'Artaise said that 2019 has begun in conditions that remain uncertain, although the group is well prepared for this and targets additional sales growth over the year, along with an improvement in its operating EBIT.
