Ramsay: FY sales up, but profit down

(CercleFinance.com) - Private clinic group Ramsay has announced that group sales rose by 9.
3% to E4.7bn in the year to June 2023, underpinned by business growth in all regions and recent acquisitions in the Nordic countries.

LFL sales growth was 7%.

However, group EBITDA fell 5.6% to E621.4m, due to lower subsidies, high wage inflation and procurement costs, combined with staff shortage constraints.

Net income after tax, group share, came to E49.4m, or 1.1% of sales, down by over 50% relative to the previous year's E118.4m, due to the contraction in operating income and higher debt costs.
