Esker: sales up but profits down in 2023
(CercleFinance.com) - Esker forecasts sales of E178m in 2023, up 12% on 2022.
Despite this growth, this specialist in the automation and dematerialisation of business documents' operating income fell 16% to E17.9m, while net income was down 17% at E14.8m.
However, FCF rose 57% to E15.5m.
Geographically, the Americas and Europe were the most dynamic regions, with respective sales growth of 15% and 14%. The Asia-Pacific region also grew by 11% in a difficult economic climate.
Against this backdrop, Esker anticipates 12% to 14% sales growth (excluding acquisitions and currency effects) in FY 2024, with an operating margin of 12% to 13%. This outlook will be updated in forthcoming publications, the company says.
