Whirlpool: withdraws targets for 2020

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening Whirlpool announced that it is withdrawing its targets for the current year, and said that the financial impact of the current situation may slightly exceed its initial estimate of 25m-40m dollars on its Q1 operating profit.


Because of the uncertain context created by the coronavirus pandemic, the manufacturer of household appliances adds that it has taken measures to protect its supply chain and reduce costs. It nevertheless says that it has a "solid financial position".
