Wells Fargo: 72% increase in Q3 EPS

(CercleFinance.com) - Wells Fargo has reported Q3 2023 net income of $5.
77bn, or $1.48 per share, up 72% y-o-y.

The Californian bank's provisions for credit losses rose to almost $1.2bn, compared with $784m a year before, while non-interest expenses fell by over 8% to $13.1bn.

Revenues rose by almost 7% to just under $20.9bn, as the group said that it benefited from both higher interest rates and investments in its businesses.
