Salesforce: to lay off 10% of workforce

(CercleFinance.com) - Salesforce has announced a restructuring plan designed to reduce operating costs and improve margins, including a reduction of about 10% of its current workforce, as well as the disposal of real estate assets in certain markets.


The CRM software company expects to book about 1.4 to 2.1 billion dollars in charges related to the plan, including 800 million to 1 billion dollars in Q4 2022-23.

The job reduction actions are expected to be largely completed by the end of FY 2023-24, subject to local legislation and consultation, while real estate restructuring actions are expected to be completed in FY 2025-26.
