Oracle: EPS up 16% in Q3

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday evening Oracle reported Q3 2023-24 (ended February) adjusted EPS (non-GAAP) that rose 16% to $1.
41, with an adjusted operating margin that improved to 44%, from 42% a year earlier.

The enterprise software company's revenues rose by 7% to $13.3bn (both in dollars and constant currencies), including cloud revenues (infrastructure and 'as a service' applications) that are up 25% at $5.1bn.

“Large new cloud infrastructure contracts signed in Q3 drove Oracle's total Remaining Performance Obligations up 29% to over $80 billion - an all-time record,“ Oracle CEO, Safra Catz said.

"We expect to continue receiving large contracts reserving cloud infrastructure capacity because the demand for our Gen2 AI infrastructure substantially exceeds supply—despite the fact we are opening new and expanding existing cloud datacenters very, very rapidly", she added.
