Netflix: Barclays raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Maintaining its 'equal weight' recommendation on Netflix shares, Barclays has raised its target price for them from $475 to $550, after increasing its EPS estimates for the video streaming platform.


The broker says that Netflix seems on track for another strong quarter, but the growth algorithm is becoming more complicated than in the past, which is not reflected in the shares valuation.

Barclays rounds up, saying that broader streaming trends highlight YouTube's growing share of engagement relative to subscription streaming.
