Lennar: higher dividend and share buybacks

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening, Lennar Corp announced that its Board of Directors has decided to increase its annual dividend from $1.
50 to $2 per share, representing a quarterly dividend of 50 cents per Class A and B share.

The Board also authorized the homebuilder to repurchase up to an additional $5bn of its outstanding shares, a repurchase authorization with no expiry date.

The dividend will be payable on 7 February to shareholders on record on 24 January. Share buybacks may be made through open market or over-the-counter transactions.
