IBM: announces acquisition of consulting firm 7Summits

(CercleFinance.com) - IBM has announced the acquisition of 7Summits, a firm that has been accompanying companies' digital transformation for over ten years.


Cet achat s'inscrit dans une stratégie d'investissement plus large conduite par IBM, qui vise à accompagner les transformations numériques des clients, via le cloud hybride et l'intelligence artificielle, précise Mark Foster, vice-président senior des services IBM.

This deal is part of a broader investment strategy led by IBM, which aims to support customers' digital transformations via the hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence, it said.

7Summits will strengthen IBM's strategy consulting, experience design and application development capabilities on the Salesforce platform.

The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
