GM: 2022 earnings almost flat

(CercleFinance.com) - GM has reported 2022 net profit of 9.
93 billion dollars, almost flat (-0.8%) compared with the previous year (10.01 billion dollars).

At the same time, adjusted EBIT rose from 14.29 to 14.47 billion dollars, which GM says is a "record" figure, up 1.2% y-o-y.

GM says that it led the US industry in sales, recording the largest year-on-year market share increase of any OEM, thanks to strong demand for its products and improved supply chain conditions.

For 2023, the company expects earnings of 8.7 to 10.1 billion dollars, and adjusted EBIT of 10.5 to 12.5 billion dollars.
