GE: settles Vestas patent dispute

(CercleFinance.com) - GE said that it has reached an agreement to settle all patent litigation with Denmark's Vestas over technologies that enable wind turbines to manage grid faults.


The agreement results in the discontinuation of a case pending in California, as well as all other pending proceedings relating to patents-in-suit, the companies said.

The settlement also includes a cross-license deal, as well as a confidential payment from Vestas to GE, they said.
